LATENESS POLICY
Patients are responsible for the time they reserve for their appointment, that time is set aside for you. If you are late for your appointment the treatment will still end at the designated time with no change in fee. If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the treatment as booked.
CANCELLATION POLICY
When you book an appointment with a therapist you are booking that therapist’s time. Missed appointments prevent us from serving other clients. In the event that you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment with us, please cancel your appointment online or contact us by phone at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If we do not hear from you within this time-frame, and you do not keep your appointment, you will be required to pay fifty percent of the booked treatments cost.
ILLNESS
If you have a fever or a cough related to flu or cold symptoms, please call and reschedule your appointment. Massage is contraindicated for fevers and can exacerbate flu-like symptoms.

OUR PRIVACY COMMITMENT TO YOU
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the confidentiality of your personal health information. The types of personal health information we collect may include your name, date of birth, health history, and records of the care provided to you. We collect, use and disclose personal health information for the following purposes:
to provide massage therapy services and self-care advice at the end of the treatment
to conduct quality improvement and risk management activities
to obtain payment for services provided (from you, WSIB, your private insurer or others)
to teach provide continuing education to our staff
to comply with our regulatory obligations to the CMTO (College of Massage Therapy of Ontario)
to advise clients about special events or opportunities (but we will always obtain express consent to do so)
for other purposes permitted by law
We will collect, use and disclose only as much personal health information as is needed to achieve these purposes. You can withhold or withdraw your consent to the collection, use or disclosure of your personal health information by contacting us.
Our privacy policy is available and can be requested from any of our therapists.
