Meghan Leblanc, RMT

Meghan Leblanc, RMT

I am an Algonquin College Massage Therapy honours graduate with three years of hands-on experience working with pre/post-natal, chronic pain, sports injury, and public clients. Before becoming a Massage Therapist, I studied and graduated from the Occupational & Physiotherapists Assistant program at Sir Sandford Fleming College. I worked as a Rehab Assistant as well as in the health and fitness industry for five years before going back to school for massage therapy. I have accumulated experience working with a variety of patients in LTC homes, hospitals, multidisciplinary clinics, fitness centers, expos, and retirement communities.

My treatments focus on improving bodily movement, function, balance, and strength to improve the quality and completion of ADL’s, leisure activities, and specific sports training. I concentrate on decreasing muscle tension, fascial restrictions, correcting postural imbalances, alleviating pain, trigger point therapy, improving muscle performance, and PNF/static stretching to improve flexibility.

I am a varsity basketball alumnus, previous bodybuilding competitor, and I enjoy staying active by working out. Growing up I competed in competitive swimming, volleyball, soccer, and track & field. I have always had a passion for sports and exercise, this has allowed me to connect with my clients in regard to understanding athletic performance, progressive strength training, mobility, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. I look forward to serving you, supporting you, and aiding in your care.
